IS A VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT THE SOLUTION?

How do we get the vitamins back into the flour? How do we get the trans, saturated fatty acids that are dangerous for our circulation out of the frying oil – and get the unsaturated fatty acids in? The answer seems clear: enrichment with vitamins, minerals, trace elements or fatty acids.

All well and good; but ‘re-mineralising” potato starch with various electrolytes does not produce potatoes; white flour does not turn into wholesome grain when ‘vitaminised”. And adding calcium does not transform a fruit juice into a growth turbo booster.

A handful of artificially produced vitamins can never make up for the loss of thousands of vital substances.
