Those who eat the right food feel good. If, however, important nutrients are lacking in our food it is not just our health that suffers – a degree of well-being vanishes too.
Should we revert to the food conventions of the good old days? Go back to the drudgery of peeling potatoes or standing for hours at the cooker making a wholesome stew? What about the daily chores in the vegetable garden?
Life has changed – totally different from what it was a century ago. So has our food. Not enough time for cooking – and pre-cooked meals just cannot provide sufficient energy.
In potato starch there is only about 10% of the vital substances you can find in real potatoes. Milk powder can supply only a fraction of what real milk supplies. White flour doesn”t even have 10% of the vital substances contained in wholemeal.
